Iris Hantverk "Lovisa" Oak and Horsehair/Tampico Bath Brush

Hand-made in Sweden and designed by Lovisa Wattman, this oil-treated oak bath brush combines horse hair and tampico fibers for a little extra scrubbing power. Horse hair is is soft and pliable creating a rich, creamy lather while the natural tampico fibers adds scrub. Allow the brush to dry hanging or standing on the bristles. Brushes that give "hand-made" a new meaning: In the late 19th century a small brush manufacturing company was started in Stockholm, Sweden called Iris Hantverk. It was a successful venture, so successful that it remains today. Now, as then, every brush is made by hand by visually impaired craftsmen. It brings new dimensions to the concept of sensitively made by hand. All brushes are of exclusive design and made mostly from natural materials.
